Hi there, this is the first of many posts from the GillCode blog.

Here I just want to inform you what you can expect from this site and the incoming posts you will be able to access here. You will be able to join me on my coding journey where I will inform and describe the many features I intend to build during the progression of my many projects. Including the many pitfalls that come with learning and developing code where documentation just doesnt cut it!

Here is a quick list of the technologies I am learning and improving on in my coding journey

I also intend to create some posts regarding my own personal experiences in code and try a few tech reviews where possible. The tech reviews will cover the latest new tech I can get my hands on, from getting the best desk setup or from training related tech (I'll try to get a range of tech here).

My own personal experience will hopefully provide guidance for new developers when learning programming languages and frameworks. I primarily develop in C Sharp under ASP.NET for my backend code, while I have spent a large portion of my career as a front end developer coding in JavaScript with frameworks and libraries like Ember and React.

I am now in the process of developing a react native app! So I will share my progress, development tips and my many incoming pitfalls. So stay tuned!
